MANASSAS, Va., June 19, 2014 – Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has named Julie Frank as the new branch manager at its Manassas office. Frank brings to her new position a wealth of experience in sales and the real estate industry.

“I’m thrilled to lead the fantastic team of real estate professionals at Long & Foster’s Manassas office, and I’m excited for this amazing opportunity,” Frank said. “Long & Foster is known for attracting high-caliber sales associates and clientele by providing the best and latest tools, technology and training, and I look forward to helping our agents build their careers in real estate and to further growing the Long & Foster brand in our region.”

Frank’s experience in real estate began while she was growing up in Northern Virginia and her mother, Judy Tobin, joined Long & Foster as a real estate agent in 1975. Her mother, a top-producing agent, instilled a love of the real estate world in her and she eventually joined in as a member of The Tobin Team. Her husband, Jim Frank, later joined the team, bringing vast knowledge of the home-building industry as well as handy-man know-how.

“Supporting today’s real estate sales professionals takes a highly knowledgeable, experienced leader,” said Boomer Foster, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster’s Northern Virginia region. “We are confident that adding Julie to the Long & Foster leadership team will result in the synergy on which our agents thrive. This is how our company has continued to help local buyers and sellers meet their homeownership goals for the past 45 years.”

Frank has lived in the Northern Virginia area for most of her life. She grew up in Springfield, Va., and later graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor’s in psychology with an emphasis on industrial and organizational psychology.
