The Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College is planning a job fair to hire part-time instructors for its popular NOVA Next Door program.
Instructors are needed for evening courses in English, math and communications. Faculty must hold a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
The job fair is scheduled for June 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at NOVA’s Global Learning Center in the Manassas Mall (near IHOP). Applicants should bring one form of government-issued identification, unofficial transcripts, resume and cover letter.
NOVA Next Door puts college classes close to where people live. Classes are held at local high schools, including Battlefield, Brentsville, Centreville, Manassas Park, Osbourn, Patriot and Westfield.
