PUMPKIN BEERS featured at MONZA OCT. BEER DINNER

With the advent of October, Monza of Old Town Manassas, Va. is hosting a four-course pumpkin beer dinner, featuring beers from Dogfish Head, Southern Tier, Devil’s Backbone, Williamsburg Aleworks and Flying Dog. on Thurs., Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. for $65 inclusive. The four-course dinner will be paired with a variety of pumpkin beers including: a Greeter Beer of Dogfish Head Punkin Pumpkin Ale; Southern Tier PumKing Pumpkin Ale with Pumpkin Hummus Bruschetta; Devils Backbone Icabod Crandall Pumpkin Ale served with Roasted Corn Soup topped with Cherry tomatoes and Chorizo; Williamsburg Alewerks with Homemade Butternut Squash served with toasted pumpkin seeds and Braised Short Rib; and Flying Dog’s The Fear Imperial Pumpkin Ale paired with Pumpkin Cheesecake.

“Pumpkins are in-season and that means some great pumpkin beers; we’ve taken some items from our new fall dinner menu that complements the savory flavor of pumpkin beer,” said Miguel Pires, general manager of Carmello’s and Monza of Old Town Manassas, Va.
