Write by the Rails Earns Charter

The Virginia Writers Club's newest chapter serves Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.

Write by the Rails, a networking group of writers based in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park, has been officially chartered as the Prince William Chapter of the Virginia Writers Club (VWC).

The announcement was made at VWC’s annual meeting Nov. 3 in Richmond with local members June Kilpatrick and Linda Johnston of Gainesville and Terry Reardon of Woodbridge in attendance.

VWC is a statewide organization with a 94-year history that supports and stimulates the art, craft and business of writing in the Commonwealth.  Write by the Rails joins nine other regional chapters of the club:  Appalachian Authors Guild, Blue Ridge, Chesapeake Bay Writers, Hampton Roads, Hanover Writers, Northern Virginia, Richmond, Riverside Writers and Valley Writers.
