Clogged Drain May Be Culprit of Manassas Dealership Roof Collapse

Something as simple as a clogged drain may be what brought down part of the roof of a Manassas car dealership on Friday, Manassas officials told Fox5

The roof of the Manassas Hyundai Dealership on Centreville Road in Manassas collapsed around 6:30 p.m. as heavy rains moved through the area.

Twenty-five people were inside at the time, Manassas City spokesman Patty Prince said.

An employee twisted her ankle while trying to run from the falling ceiling, Prince said.
No other injuries were reported.
