Update: Oxycodone Prescription Forger's Hearing Postponed
The hearing for the Manassas woman charged with buying Oxycodone with a fake prescription has been postponed.
A Manassas woman accused of buying Oxycodone with a fake prescription had her preliminary hearing in Prince William County District Court rescheduled to June 13 when she was unable to be transferred from a federal prison for hearing Monday.
The order was sent to a state prison instead of a federal one, according to a Prince William County Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney.
Jennifer Edwards, 32, is facing charges of felony obtaining drugs by fraudulent means (first offense), misdemeanor prescription fraud and misdemeanor possession of marijuana (second offense), according to online district court records.

Edwards has already been sentenced to three months in federal prison and one year of supervised probation after she pled guilty to possession of felony schedule II controlled substance in Virginia’s Eastern District Federal Court.
She was arrested on Feb. 22 by the FBI they uncovered evidence that Edwards had used forged prescriptions to by Roxicodone, a variant of Oxycodone, at pharmacies in Leesburg, Haymarket, Manassas and Vienna in 2010.
