Weather Alert: How Much Snow Will Manassas Get?

Cold overnight temperatures in National Weather Service forecast.

The Manassas area could see as much as a foot of snow, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service. 

According to the National Weather Service, the area could see anywhere between six to 12 inches of snow.

Local residents have been preparing for the storm since a winter storm watch was issued early Monday.

The current forecast for Manassas calls for rain starting Tuesday afternoon and turning to snow overnight. The snow is expected to continue through Wednesday and is even possible into the early-morning hours Thursday.
