Cuffed: Two Arrests Made in Manassas Narcotics Cases

A Manassas man and a Fredericksburg man were arrested following a special operation carried out by Prince William County Police.

Darrell Kinard, 32, of 8666 Bruton Parrish Ct. No. 200 in Manassas was arrested on May 31 during a traffic stop and later charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute a schedule one or two narcotic, one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a schedule one or two narcotic, reports show.

The traffic stop prompted police to search the suspect's home where they found materials consistent with drug distribution, police said.

A $2,500 secured bond was set for the suspect who is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.

That same day, police arrested Robert Wayne Cushing, 29, of 14001 Sand Circle in Fredericksburg was arrested after a vehicle stop on Sudley Road and  is charged with attempt to distribute a schedule one or two narcotic, police reports show.

Both arrests were made in May but information wasn't released publicly to protect the investigation, police said.

Cushing is expected to appear in court on Aug. 16. A $2,500 secured bond was set.
