Fly the Fortress: Flights and Ground Tours of EAA's WWII B-17 Bomber!


Chapter 186 of the Experimental Aircraft Association will sell flights and ground tours on EAA's restored World War II B-17 bomber "Aluminum Overcast" Friday-Sunday, October 25-27, 2013 at Manassas Regional Airport. Weather permitting, we fly in the morning beginning at 8:00-9:00 AM and offer ground tours starting about 2:00 PM. The flight experience lasts about an hour with briefing and debriefing, including about 30 minutes airborne. Passengers are free to explore the aircraft and take photos/videos during flight!

If purchased before the plane's arrival at Manassas, tickets are $409 for EAA members, $449 for non-members; on-site prices are $435 for EAA members and $475 for non-members. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Ground tours are free for veterans and active military, $10 for other individuals, and $20 for a family of four.
