Neighborhood Leaders Group Meeting

Join us on Wednesday, September 25th for our monthly Neighborhood Leaders Group meeting.

The
topic for this month’s  session will be “Understanding Common
Neighborhood Property Code Violations” presented by Senior Property Code
Enforcement Inspectors Claire Firebaugh and Kelley Tyler.  Inspectors
Firebaugh & Tyler will explain the function of the Neighborhood
Services Division and the roles we each play in helping to maintain our
neighborhoods.   Our Division was created to help residents understand,
abide by, and raise awareness about compliance issues with property
codes in their neighborhoods.  The codes are an instrumental guide that
allows us to work together to maintain the adequate health, safety and
quality of life in the places where we live and conduct business within
Prince William County.

The meeting will be held from 7:00-8:30pm
in Room 202 on the second floor of the Development Services Bldg.
located  at 5 County Complex Ct. in Woodbridge.  As always, feel free to
join us for a social/networking half-hour from 6:30 to 7 pm.

The
class is part of our continuing series for neighborhood leaders.  The
series offers residents the opportunity to learn effective strategies to
help address concerns impacting their communities. All residents are
invited and encouraged to attend.   We also encourage HOA/COA leaders,
civic group leaders and community leaders to attend and share
information.  Residents can form partnerships with other neighborhood
leaders throughout the County to share their experiences to help others
improve their neighborhoods within Prince William County.
