Prescott Open House to Benefit Habitat for Humanity
Nearly $3,000 was raised for Habitat at last year's event.
Hugh Ickrath, the Manassas resident refurbishing the Prescott House after it was destined for demolition, will be hosting the second annual open house event to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Prince William County.
The event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday will provide a chance to tour the home, at 9300 Prescott St., and see repairs. Guests are charged $5, with the proceeds benefiting Habitat. Nearly $3,000 was raised for Habitat last year.
