Picture Perfect Photo Wins Scholarship Award for Manassas Student
The 2014 Frame My Future Scholarship Contest comes with a $1,000 award.
A Manassas student attending the University of Virginia is one of five winners in the 2014 Frame My Future Scholarship Contest — with a $1,000 award from Church Hill Classics.
Kirsten Stiller's winning entry was a self photo in an Army uniform standing with the American flag. Her parents are U.S. Army soldiers, and patriotism has a strong presence in her household and life.
“I realized the full extent to which my parents devoted their lives to this country," Stiller said. "I decided that I want to serve this nation in the same way they do.”
