3 Must Read Books about Organizing and Productivity

3 Must Read Books about Organizing and Productivity

Wow!  I’m looking at this list of the The 2012 Influential Marketing Book Award Winners and I’m so impressed that the author makes it through 30 books a year!  I can barely get through 2, I’m so busy doing other things.  This is my year to change that – one of my goals this year is to read more – one book per month for “learning” or inspiration and one book for pleasure.  I think that is a manageable goal.

Knowledge is definitely power  – the more you read, the more you learn.  I plan to find time to read by always having a book with me for those times I have to wait in line or have some unexpected downtime.

If you’re looking to increase your organizing and productivity knowledge, I recommend the following 3 books.

  1. The Truth About Getting More Done – Mark Fritz.   Great advice and techniques for focusing on your priorities and achieving your goals.
  2. Organizing Plain and Simple – Donna Smallin.  A useful guide with many, many organizing tips for the home and office.
  3. Simplify Your Time – Marcia Ramsland.  Fabulous tips for ways to gain control of your schedule and your time.
