Dispose of Hazardous Waste and Electronics in Manassas Saturday

E-waste devices can also be dropped off.

Residents can get rid of household hazardous waste and electronics collection event from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday in Manassas. 

"Residents can bring the following items for disposal: paint, motor oil, solvents, insecticides, petroleum products, antifreeze, glues, drain cleaners, fertilizers, swimming pool chemicals, herbicides, batteries (other than AA, C, and D batteries), old gasoline, mercury switches and propane tanks that weigh 20 pounds or less," said a press release from the City of Manassas.

The drop off is at Manassas Transfer Station, 8305 Quarry Rd.

"The following are considered E-waste and can be dropped off Saturday as well: TVs, printers, scanners, fax machines, CPUs, monitors, etc.," said the city's release.
