JAMES MICHAEL BRESLIN, JR. age 55, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2014 at his home in Nokesville, VA.
He was born on September 6, 1958 in Vicenza, Italy to James Michael and Mary Ann (Carvill) Breslin. Jim retired after 28 ½ years from Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department. After retirement he worked with Prince William County Schools Transportation as a Special Needs Route Manager. Jim was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Predeceased by his father James Michael Breslin.
Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Janet Breslin; three children: Jennifer Smith and husband Jason, Joey Breslin and wife Michelle and Patrick Breslin and fiancée Pam; three grandchildren: Tyler and Hannah Smith and Caroline Breslin; mother: Mary Ann Breslin; three sisters, two brothers, mother-in-law: Ruby Dionne and 15 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, VA with Rev. Robert C. Cilinski officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, VA.
