Joy Landry Foss Suggs, nee Joyce Virginia Landry was born November 24, 1938 in Washington, DC to Harriett and Fernand A. Landry, Sr. Joy died on Thursday, May 1 in Manassas, Virginia at Betty’s Place, an assisted living facility.
Joy is predeceased by her husband Jerry Suggs and survived by three daughters; Cyndi Foss Patrick and her husband Eddie of Myrtle Beach, SC, Susan Foss Colbert and her husband Tommy of Manassas, Virginia, and Sandi Foss McCloskey of Germantown, Maryland. Her brother, Fernand (Lanny) A. Landry, Jr. and his wife Julie, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive her.
A private memorial service was held on Saturday, May 3 for family and close friends.
