Mary Ann Kuznear, age 82, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in Manassas, Virginia.
Mary Ann born on November 8, 1931 in Ivy, Virginia to the late Lorenzo Clyde and Mary Lucille Eades Gibson. She worked at Thompson’s Dairy in Washington D.C. in the early to mid-1950s. She then went on to become a substitute teacher at Manassas Park Elementary School as well as a Sunday school teacher at Loch Lomond Baptist Church for over 30 years.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby and Clyde Gibson. She is survived by her husband, David Kuznear; her brother, Charles Gibson; three children, Rick, Mike, and Suzanne; eight grandchildren, Tommy, Matthew, Sarah, Amy, Evan, Shannon, Kristen, and Garrett; three great grandchildren, Dwayne, Makayla, and Kaitlyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
On Friday, April 25, 2014, a viewing will be held at 2:00pm and services will proceed directly after at 3:00pm at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas, VA 20110.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Mary Ann’s name may be made to Loch Lomond Baptist Church, 9325 Mace St., Manassas, VA 20111 or Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
