Toss Evert Cline, 43, of Warrenton, VA passed away on April 9, 2014.

He was born in Manassas, Virginia on January 26, 1971 to Marian Cline and the late Grady Cline and raised in Nokesville, VA. He graduated from Brentsville High School and received a degree in Technology Education from Virginia Tech. He earned his Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from George Mason University. He married Rebecca Lyons on July 8, 2006.

Toss was a favorite teacher who taught Technology Education and sponsored the Robotics Club for 15 years at James Madison High School in Vienna, VA. He won many school, county, state and national teaching awards. He touched many lives, and led many students to pursue engineering, architecture, CAD or other science/technology related fields. 

Toss loved to travel, and visited 48 out of the 50 states. He also went to Scotland, Britain and a tour of Europe. He loved hunting, fishing, antiquing and tornado chasing in his spare time.

Toss is survived by his mother Marian Cline of Nokesville, VA; wife, Rebecca Cline of Warrenton, VA; daughters Ann Deanna and Grace Elizabeth of Warrenton, VA; brother David Kinsey of Goldvein, VA; and sister Karen Payne of Nokesville, VA. He is also survived by his mother-In-law Priscilla Lyons of Owings, MD; Father-in-law Jack Lyons of Owings; and sister-in-law Dr. Heather Lyons Zinczyn, Houston, TX.

Visitation will be held at Pierce Funeral Home 9606 Center St in Manassas, VA on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9 pm. The funeral will be held at Pierce Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 1pm with interment following at Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Nokesville, VA.
