While the News Reports all headline that the horrible economy was not expected we can say that they are lying to you or they truly believe socialism works.
We are on the cusp of the anticipated economic catastrophe that has been expected. This last quarter the economy fell more than in the last 58years. With the negative growth of 3% last quarter the best outcome for the year would be a 1.5% growth. That is the best and that isn't happening.
The reasons that had been given in the past for a slow and sluggish economy has been that businesses have sat on their money waiting for the Government to finalize its policies. Business has seen the policies of 1/3 of the population or 100 million people permanently taken out of the work force, they have seen the policies of taking more of the peoples income through taxes, regulations and Obama Care, they see the polices of tying the hands of business to prevent them from growing. So business is not sitting by and waiting to see what policies the government (Obama) will decide on, they have seen it and are running away as fast as they can.

The big reason given now for the negative growth is that consumers are sitting on the side line. With 1/3 of the population in a welfare economy they say that it was unexpected? Please!
Ok, who's fault is it that our foreign relations is the worst it has ever been, the economy is the cusp of the anticipated economic catastrophe, minorities are in even worse economic straits, we are witnessing unparalleled human tragedy at our boarder and things haven't even gotten as bad as it will get and we are normalizing deviant behavior left and right? I know the name Obama is the first thing that pops into your mind but you would be wrong. You don't say the hammer and chisel made the marble statue. They are just the tools. Obama is just a tool. The blame goes squarely on the American people. They voted for this not once but twice. "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." The people of Northern Virginia not only voted for this "Hopey Changey" thing twice but then vote to put McAuliffe in as Governor. The people of Northern Virginia are a big reason for the countries dire situation. To be specific many of the left wing nuts here on the Patch. My only hope in the future is that these people and their children reap some of the worst of the coming evils.
