Accused Bank Robber Turns Self In

A Manassas man has confessed to robbing a local bank.

A Manassas man has confessed to robbing a local bank.

Robert Nelson Lane, of 9507 Liberty Street in Manassas, turned himself over to authorities on Sunday, according to Manassas City Police. 

Lane confessed to , located on Centreville Road, last week and fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

Lane was charged with Breaking and Entering and Grand Larceny.

He is currently being held at the Prince William Adult Detention Center, with no bond. His court date was set for October 18, 2011.
