Another Vehicle Stolen While Parked at 7-11

Manassas City Police are investigating after a vehicle parked outside of the 7-11 convenience store on Mathis Avenue was stolen late Wednesday night.

Manassas City Police are investigating after a vehicle parked outside of the 7-11 convenience store on Mathis Avenue was stolen late Wednesday night.

Police said the owner of the 2003 Ford truck left it unattended around 11 p.m. Wednesday at the 7-11 store located at 9166 Mathis Avenue, while he went inside to purchase items.

The victim exited the store to find his truck, which he left unlocked and running, had been stolen. The truck was valued at over $8,000.

, according to police. It happened between 10 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. on a Saturday, police said.

Police are reminding resident not to leave anything of value inside their vehicles and to always keep their vehicles locked.
