Armed Robbery at Old Town Inn

Police in Manassas are investigating after a man staying at the Old Town Inn told police he was robbed by two armed men.

Police in Manassas are investigating after a man staying at the Old Town Inn said he was was robbed by two armed men.

Police were called to the local hotel, located at 9403 Main Street, Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 2 a.m., according to Manassas Police Sergeant Eddie Rivera.

According to police, responding officers were told the victim was in a room with a female friend when someone knocked on his door. Two black males rushed into the room—one brandishing a gun and the other a knife— when the victim answered the door.

The victim told police he was robbed of clothing, a cell phone and an undisclosed amount of currency. 

Police are looking for two black males and possibly a third suspect, described as a female, in connection with the attack.

The first suspect was described as a black male, 20-30 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, with a heavy built  and goatee. He was seen wearing a black winter jacket, a black and white baseball cap and a red t-shirt and jeans.

The second male suspect was described as black, 20-30 years old, approximately 5’10” tall and 250 lbs. He was seen wearing a Virginia Tech hoodie, khaki-colored cargo pants and black and white sneakers.

The female, who was possibly involved, was described as black with a light complexion, 20-30 years old, 5’6” tall and weighing approximately 120 lbs. She was seen wearing a pink bandana, a pink t-shirt with the letters “N” and “V” in dark print across the front and carrying a plaid jacket.

All subjects involved were caught on surveillance video while leaving the establishment.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call The Manassas City Crime Solvers 24-hour tip line at (703) 330-0330. A cash reward up to $1,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest in the case.  Callers may remain anonymous.
