A woman who pleaded guilty to murdering the child she was hired to care for will appear in a Manassas courtroom on Monday, Jan. 13 for sentencing.

Jessica Fraraccio, 22, of Manassas pleaded guilty in October to felony child abuse and felony murder charges  in connection with the death of her 23-month-old charge, Elijah Nealey, at his family's Manassas home in August 2012.

Those charges carry a maximum sentence of 50 years, Commonwealth's Attorney Paul Ebert said in an earlier report.

Elijah's father, Michael Nealey, said that Fraraccio, originally told Manassas Police that Elijah's death was an accident, but an investigation later revealed otherwise.

An extensive Manassas Police investigation later revealed the boy died of suffocation and the babysitter was arrested in March 2013 and indicted in May 2013.
At some point, Fraraccio told police she’d smothered Elijah by putting her hand over his month because he was misbehaving as she tried to feed him, Michael Nealey told Patch in an earlier report.

Fraraccio also faced a child abuse charge but as part of a plea agreement, prosecutors decided not to pursue it. Michael Nealey said he and his family are happy a plea agreement was reached and a jury trial was avoided.

What do you think a fair sentence would be for Fraraccio? Tell us in the comments.

Death!

Life in a small cage or death. Either works for me. Society needs to start getting very tough on people that do criminal things. The death penalty needs to be reinstated throughout the country in order to reduce the prison population. The religious liberals need to be voted out of power so law and order can do to the criminal what they are doing to society. We have DNA now so lets use it to make sure we don't get the wrong person and put down the guilty. Ultra liberals need to be removed from the Justice system as they always defend the scum balls.

first she should be tortured, then put to death, there is no room in society for child killers, and example should be made, but this will not happen, because of all the bleeding hearts, is this women mentally ill? I would think by this act the answer to that is obvious, and I wish all those who try and defend her should have the same thing happen to them, so they feel the same pain the babies parents feel, and then see how much their views change
