Update: Bank Robbery Suspect ID'd

Prince William County Police have identified the man accused of robbing the Capital One Bank on Sudley Road Tuesday. He was arrested Thursday in Manassas.

Prince William County Police have identified the man suspected of robbing a bank earlier this week.

Dwight Angelo Robinson, 4o, of no fixed address was apprehended Thursday after an investigation led to warrants being obtained and the accused was eventually arrested in Manassas after an unmarked police vehicle cut off the suspect's truck on Prescott Avenue in Manassas around 5 p.m. Thursday.

An officer on the scene said the suspect was taken into custody without incident in the residential area.

Robinson is accused of robbing the Capital One Bank on Sudley Road Tuesday around 4 p.m. Police put out a lookout for the suspect's vehicle: an early 2000 black, four-door Ford pickup truck with an orange strip running down the side and silver/chrome-style running boards (see photos).

The Manassas Junction Bed an Breakfast sits feet away from where the arrest unfolded. Owner Mark Hempen said the officers "had their guns drawn" on the suspect but the "guy gave up easily" and the situation "was over in seconds."
