Bank Robbery: Will Mustache Description Help Locate Suspect?

Images and suspect description provided by Prince William County Police.

A Nokesville bank was robbed Thursday morning, but the suspect description provides an important clue to help track down the suspect: a "reddish" mustache.

The man walked into the Carter Bank & Trust at 12912 Fitzwater Drive around 11 a.m., according to Prince William County Police. The man passed a note to the teller demanding money and implying he had a weapon.

The man fled the bank on foot. A K-9 was unsuccessful in tracking the suspect.

The suspect is described as white, between 20-25 years old, 5 ft. 5 in. with a thin build and the mustache. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with "South Pole" embroidered on the back, along with blue jeans.
