Bird Cage, Two Parakeets Stolen from Manassas Home

The birds disappeared from a home on Town Lane in Manassas.

Manassas Police are trying to determine who lifted  two birds from their home in Manassas on Sunday. 

The owners of the birds summoned police to their home on the 9800 block of Town Lane on Monday and told them someone had taken their two parakeets from the backyard,  Manassas Police reports show. 

The birds, along with a white bird cage, disappeared in a relatively short time period, between 3 and 3:35 p.m. that day, the victims said. 

One of the missing birds is white and blue, while the other is green and grey. 
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Manassas City Police  Department Investigative Services Division at 703-257-8092 or the Crime Solvers confidential 24-hour tip line at 703-330-0330.  

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward up to $1000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
