Two people forced their way into Baldwin Elementary School on Thursday evening, just days before the school will open for the new year.
It happened around 9 p.m. in one of the mobile unit classrooms behind the main school building on Main Street, Manassas Police said.
A school employee who responded to the alarm sounding saw the suspects running away from the trailer toward Main Street. Police later found they had ransacked the trailer, but it's not clear if anything was stolen.
Officers were able to collect physical evidence from the crime scene while the employee was able to provide investigators with a description of the suspects.
One suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s standing 6`1" tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He had short, dark hair and was wearing a black shirt with red and white lettering and baggy blue jeans.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic or mixed-race female in her late teens or early 20's standing 5`5" tall. She had a medium build with dark hair worn in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and shorts.
No arrests have been made in connection to the case.
