Other businesses have faced similar break-ins in last two weeks.

A Liberia Avenue sign business is the latest victim in a string of similar area burglaries, according to Manassas City Police.

Officers responded Friday morning to Welco Signs & Awards at 9073 Liberia Avenue. The employees told police that they discovered the front glass door had been shattered.

A cash register with an undisclosed amount of cash had been stolen. Officers recovered the cash register in a nearby dumpster, but the cash was missing.
