Several small items were removed from three cars parked in driveways on the 9600 block of Cloverhill Road and the 10000 Greenleaf Drive, Manassas City Police investigators said.
Items such as cash, electronics, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), a purse, prescription medication and shoes were all discovered missing on Tuesday morning, police said.
All the cars were left unlocked, police said. The department provides information on how to prevent larcenies on its website here.
Police are also investigating the theft of a dark blue 2004 Dodge Intrepid.
The owner told police it disappeared from the 9700 block of Bragg Lane sometime between Monday evening and 4 a.m. Tuesday.
The owner is convinced the keys were taken from her house the day before the theft. The car has handicap tags and a cross hanging from the rear-view mirror.
