Centreville Man Injured in Fight at McDonalds

The fight started in the dining room of at a Manassas location of the fast-food chain.

A Centreville man suffered minor injuries in an altercation police said broke out in a Manassas-area McDonalds dining room.  

It happened just before 1 a.m. on Saturday at 10730 Balls Ford Rd. when a 49-year-old Centreville man returned from the bathroom and discovered someone trying to walk away with the laptop he'd left on the table.  

The victim confront the thief, who was with a group of other men and fight ensued, Prince William County reports show.

One of the men held the victim down while another man assaulted him, police said. 

An employee heard the commotion and called police, but the group dispersed and left the restaurant in two red sedans before police could arrive.

The assailant in the attempted robbery is descried as a white man between the ages of 20 and 25 standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a long back hood sweatshirt and blue jeans. 

Another suspect is described as a black man also between the ages of 20 and 25. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds with a medium build.  He was last seen wearing a tan vest, blue jeans and glasses.
