City Police Investigate Residential Burglary

A neighbor said that she saw a group of juveniles looking in the house while no one was home.

A Manassas City resident reported a burglary after her jewelry, cameras and iPod Touch went missing, Manassas City Police said. 

The resident of the home on the 9200 block of Landgreen Street reported on Nov. 25 that the burglary had probably occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 12.

A neighbor told the resident on that day she saw a group of juveniles looking into the house while no one was home.

"The resident had neither noticed any signs of forced entry, nor any items missing on Nov. 12," Sgt. Lowell Nevill, a spokesman for the Manassas City Police Department, said in a press release. "The resident reported the incident to police on Nov. 25 after noticing that several pieces of jewelry, two Sony cameras and an Apple [iPod Touch] were missing."

The investigation continues.
