A Crime Solvers tip has led to the arrest of an armed robbery suspect sought since October.

Manassas City Police, along with the U.S. Marshals Service, have arrested Deshoun Ernest Wallace for his alleged involvement in a in Georgetown South.

Police said the victim had to be transported to the hospital after being punched in the face and head several times during the assault.

The tip led officers to a home in Fairfax County where Wallace was hiding. He was arrested there and served with outstanding warrants of armed robbery and aggravated malicious wounding, police said. 

Wallace is being held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center with no bond. His female accomplice in the violent robbery, Dec. 14.
