Crime Blotter: Fence Damaged in Hit-and-Run

A car was keyed and tools were also stolen from a pickup truck in the Manassas City Police jurisdiction.

Manassas City Police are investigating several recent incidents. 

Hit and Run: A resident reported that someone damaged a fence near the corner of Karlo Street and Frank Court around 11:30 p.m. July 11. The resident heard what sounded like a traffic crash, then looked out a window and saw a red vehicle and a white hatchback speeding away on Karlo Street.

Larceny: A resident reported that tools were taken sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday from his work pickup truck on Hood Road near the intersection with Calypso Drive. He said that a yellow bag containing HVAC tools was missing from a locked tool box on the side of the truck. There were no signs of forced entry.

Vandalism: Someone keyed and flattened the tire of a car parked on the 8300 block of Shady Grove Circle overnight between Sunday and Monday.
