Man Arrested for Ramming Motorist Off Road, Brandishing Handgun and Throwing Objects at Moving Vehicle

Police in Prince William County have arrested a motorist from Centreville after he rammed another motorist off the road while traveling down Old Centreville Road in Manassas Sunday evening.

Police said they responded to the area of Maplewood Dr and Old Centreville Rd in Manassas (20111) for a disorderly call on Sunday, July 3 at around 6:30 p.m.

The victim, an adult male, told police that the accused, a known acquaintance identified as Santos Martinez Guzman, 27, of Centreville, had confronted him at a nearby 7-11 convenience store in the area over a recurring issue.

The victim drove off down Old Centreville Rd, and the accused followed him, reportedly displayed a handgun. The suspect then rammed the victim’s vehicle several times causing them to lose control and run into a ditch.

The accused then continued to drive and entered Fairfax County, according to Prince William County Police.  A witness was able to provide police with a tag number of the vehicle, which led to the suspect being arrested by Fairfax County Police at his residence in Centreville. Minor injuries were reported.

Guzman has been charged with attempted malicious wounding, hit and run, brandishing, aggressive driving, throwing missiles [objects] at an occupied vehicle and driving without a license. Court date and bond unavailable

D.C., Falls Church Residents Charged with Selling Drugs in Prince William County

Police concluded an investigation into the selling of crack cocaine with the arrest of Ervin Bernard Jackson, 21, of Northwest D.C. The accused had allegedly been selling crack cocaine in Prince William County.

Jackson has been charged with two counts of distributing a schedule I or II narcotic. No court date was made available and the suspect is being held without bond.

Again, police concluded an investigation into the selling of ecstasy with the arrest of the accused Gwendolyn A. Nabisaga, 34, of Falls Church, Va., on May 12. Nabisaga had allegedly been selling ecstasy in Prince William County. The arrest resulted in 30 grams of ecstasy being seized.

She is charged with two counts of distributing a schedule I or II narcotic. Court date unavailable, the suspect was being held on a $5,000 secured bond at the time of the arrest.

Armed Robbery

Prince William County Police responded to investigate an alleged armed robbery which was reported to have occurred in the Coverstone area of Manassas (20109).

The victims,  ages 19 and 20, both men from Manassas, reported to police that they were in the area above when they were approached by two unknown men.

One of the suspects displayed a handgun and relieved one of the victims of his cell phone and wallet before assaulting him.

The other victim was also relieved of an undisclosed amount of cash, but was not harmed. Both suspects fled prior to police arrival and no description was provided. Minor injuries were reported.

Burglary Investigations

On June 29th at 4:32PM, police responded to the 8000 block of Portwood Turn in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00AM and 3:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a back door which had been pried opened. Electronics and other items valued around $1,000 were reported missing.

On June 24th on 10:48AM, police responded to the Bath and Body Works located at 10990 Bulloch Dr in Manassas (20109) for an attempted burglary. Employees reported to police that between 8:00PM on June 19th and 10:00Am on June 20th, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the business by prying open a rear door. No entry was gained and no items were reported missing.
