Residential Burglaries Reported in Manassas

A burglar stole a laptop, camera and a gun from the 9000 block of Rugby Road

Police responded to a burglary on the 9000 block of Rugby Road in Manassas on Sept. 25. 

A homeowner reported that the burglary occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The burglar apparently entered through a window by removing the air conditioning unit and stole a laptop, camera, and a firearm, valued around $3,700. 

Another, apparently unrelated, burglary was reported on the 7800 block of Pembridge Road in Manassas on Sept. 26, between 8:40 a.m. and 11 a.m. There were no signs of forced entry and no property was reported missing. Several items were out of place in the residence, though, police said. The person apparently entered through an unlocked door.
