Teacher Accused of Helping Teens Escape Juvenile Facility

Police have arrested Prince William County teacher 53-year-old Timothea DZAN, of Woodbridge, after an investigation at the M.E.S.H. Juvenile Facility in Manassas. 

M.E.S.H is a facility for troubled juveniles and is located at 8642 Wellington Rd in Manassas (20110). Dzan was allegedly assigned to the facility and may have aided in the escape of four juveniles from the location. 

The minors are said to be between the ages of 14 and 17 and have been located, according to police.

The accused allegedly provided the juveniles with information on how to escape from the facility and is being charged four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and four counts of aiding in the escape of a child.

Man Burglarizes Local Church

Manassas City Police responded to All Saints Catholic Church on Center Street in Manassas for the report of a robbery on Sunday shortly before 12 a.m.

Upon arriving on the scene, police arrested Robert Pena Jr. of no fixed address after he matched a subject description given to them.  Pena has been charged with Entering a Dwelling to Commit a Larceny, Possession of burlarizing tools, along with two counts of Larceny of Bank Notes.

He is currently being held at the Prince William Adult Detention Center, on a $20,000.00 bond. His court date was set for October 11, 2011.

Arrest in Old Town Stabbing

Manassas City Police Officers were called to the area of the City Tavern restaurant in Old Town Manassas in the early morning hours of September 11 for the report of a stabbing.

Police were able to locate and stop a vehicle that was believed to be involved in the stabbing and matched a description given to them.

Police arrested Brandon Patterson, of Manassas. He has been charged with Malicious Wounding and Public Intoxication.

Patterson is currently being held at the Prince William Adult Detention Center with no bond. His court date was set for November 22, 2011.
