Driver in Fatal Dump Truck Crash Turns Himself In

James Edward Dibble of Alexandria is being charged with reckless driving in a fatal crash that claimed the life of a South Riding man Tuesday near Manassas.

Prince William County Police say has turned himself in to police.

Police obtained a warrant for James Edward Dibble, 65, of 7858 Eagle Ave. in Alexandria Wednesday, one day after the crash. He is being charged with reckless driving in the crash that occurred on Route 29 near Manassas and claimed the life of South Riding resident Daniel Tulk.

The driver turned himself into police without incident on Nov. 16, police said. His court date is set for Feb. 12. He was held without bond at the time of arrest, police said.
