DUI Charges After Four-Car Wreck on Grant Avenue

'Mug of alcohol' found in center console, according to Manassas City Police.

A woman is facing DUI charges after a four-vehicle crash on Grant Avenue on March 28, according to Manassas City Police.

Mischelle Lee Wright, 44, of the 10900 block of Inspiration Point Place, was charged with driving under the influence. She was released on a summons. Wright reportedly sustained several injuries including a laceration to her forehead.  

At 4:45 p.m. March 28, police were flagged down near the scene on Grant Avenue between Buckner Road and Wellington Road. 

Of the four vehicles involved, Wright's sports utility vehicle was found in the front yard of a residence on Grant Avenue after hitting several fences, according to Manassas City Police. 

Officers reportedly detected the smell of alcohol as they approached Wright, and they located a mug of alcohol in the center console.

Warrants for destruction of property are pending, according to police.
