Four RVs Damaged in Fire Near Manassas

Fire crew responding to brush fire call finds the four vehicles on fire.

Four RVs sustained considerable damage during a fire Thursday near Manassas, according to Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue.

A crew was dispatched at 10:30 p.m. to the 11800 block of Livingston Road regarding a brush fire. But they arrived to find four recreational vehicles were on fire.

"A second alarm was requested for additional resources; however, that was later reduced as fire and rescue units gained control and extinguished the fire," according to Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson Kim Hylander.

The four recreational vehicles sustained considerable damage, according to Hylander, but no injuries reported.

The fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
