Fugitive of the Week: Jason Lamar King

Suspect allegedly beat up family member so badly she had to be flown by helicopter to hospital.

Manassas City Police (MCPD) say Jason Lamar King is being sought after he allegedly beat up a family member so badly that she had to be flown by helicopter to a regional hospital.

According to MCPD Sergeant Eddie Rivera, warrants are on file for King for malicious wounding and abduction by force after an incident that reportedly occurred on Thursday.

Police responded to the 9400 block of Taney Road in Georgetown South around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and found an injured female. Police were told that King is believed to have beaten up the family member and held her against her will.

The victim sustained injuries to her face and head and had to be flown to a regional hospital due to the extent of her wounds, police said.

King is a 39-year-old black male, 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 230 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
