Gainesville Man Accused of Kicking Open Estranged Lover's Front Door

Prince William County Police later located and arrested the suspect.

A Gainesville man was arrested earlier this month after police said he kicked in his estranged girlfriend's front door.

Daniel Lee Roberts, 37, of Kentish Fire Street is charged with burglary and destruction of property, Prince William County Police reports show.

The victim called police at 10:43 p.m. on Jan. 17 after her supposed boyfriend kicked open the door of her apartment on the 8000 block of Lacy Drive in the Manassas area of Prince William County.

He was not able to get inside the house, so he fled the scene before authorities could arrive, Prince William County Police said.
He was later located and arrested.
