Man Arrested for Throwing Rock At Services Board Employees

The man is accused of throwing a rock at employees sitting behind a glass partition at the Prince William County Community Services Board office on Monday afternoon.

Police in Prince William Count  have arrested a man accused of throwing a rock at employees sitting behind a glass partition at the Prince William County Community Services Board.

Police said they responded to the services board office at 7969 Ashton Avenue   on March 19 at 3 p.m. after someone had called saying that gunshots had been fired inside the office.

It was soon discovered that the suspect, now identified as Steven Tyler Gray, 20, of 7515 Bosbury Ct. in Manassas, had entered the office and threw a rock towards a glas partition, which then shattered, hitting two employees.

Multiple officers responded to the scene and no injuries were reported. Gray fled the scene in a taxi, which was stopped on I-66 near the Fairfax County line. He was taken into custody without further incident and charged with throwing missiles (rock) into an occupied dwelling, police said.
