Man Charged With Burglary Following Pursuit on I-66

Santos Andres Flores, 44, was charged with multiple offenses.

A local man faces charges after he allegedly first burglarized a home, then fled from police down I-66. 

Santos Andres Flores, 44, of Community Drive in the Manassas area, was charged with intent to commit a felony, felony assault, eluding arrest and other related crimes, Manassas City Police said. 

Sgt. Lowell Nevill, a spokesman for the department, said in a press release that the pursuit began the evening of Dec. 17, after police received a call for an assault and burglary in progress on the 9700 block of Bragg Lane.

Flores was held at the county jail without bond, pending a Feb. 5 court date.
