Man Stabs, Slashes Two People in Gainesville Brawl
The victims are expected to survive their injuries, Prince William County Police said.
A fight between two men on Sunday became increasingly complicated and violent when a friend of one of the men got involved, Prince William County Police reports show.
It happened around 1 a.m. at a house on the 7300 block of Old Carolina Road in Gainesville when the suspect, a 21-year-old Manassas man, and a 22-year-old man got in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation, investigators said.
Then a third person, a friend of the victim's, got involved in the fight. That's when the suspect pulled out a knife and slashed the victim in the forehead and arm and stabbed his friend in the chest, police said.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.
After the fight, the suspect fled the scene but was later arrested.

Christian Raul Gutierrez-Perez, 21, of 9717 Aspen Place in Manassas is charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding.
He was held without bond at the adult detention center in Manassas.
