Man Accused of Sexually Abusing Two Girls in Manassas Area

The victims said the crimes took place over a course of nine months, according to Prince William County Police.

A Manassas-area man is accused of sexually abusing two young girls over a period of nine months, Prince William County Police reports show.

Jose Felix Mayorga, 30, is charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child, Prince William Police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

The Special Victims Unit of the department began an investigation into the crimes on Friday. According to police, the investigation revealed that the defendant abused both girls ages 15 and 13 between June 2012 and March.

Mayorga's address is being withheld by Patch to protect the identity of the victims. Police said the the victims were acquainted with their attacker.

Mayorga remains in custody at the adult detention center in Prince William County awaiting a bond hearing.
