Police: Knife Injury in Manassas Altercation

Woodbridge suspect charged with malicious wounding, Manassas Police said.

A Tuesday morning visit in Manassas turned violent after an altercation between two men spun out of control, according to Manassas City Police.

Lamont Keishaun Jordan,39, of Berling Court in Woodbridge is charged with malicious wounding.

The suspect was visiting the victim at his Wellington Road home at 10 a.m. when they began arguing and fighting, Manassas Police Sgt. Lowell Nevill said.

At some point, the suspect cut the victim's hand with a knife, police reports show.

Jordan remains in custody at the local jail. No bond has been set, but he is expected to appear in court May 6.
