Manassas Man Who Set Himself on Fire Dies

A Manassas man who set himself on fire behind a Manassas-area shopping center has died. 

Just after 11 a.m. on Monday, Prince William County Police received reports that a man was on fire behind the Westgate Plaza Shopping Center on Sudley Road.

He was flown to an area burn center where he died later that night, police said. 

Detectives later confirmed the 50-year-old man's injuries were self-inflicted.
