Manassas Resident Arrested for Arson
Officials have arrested a Manassas resident accused of setting two small fires in a vehicle that was parked at his rental residence.
Officials have arrested a Manassas resident accused of setting two small fires in a a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban that was parked
in the driveway of his rental residence.
Fire Marshals from the City of Manassas Fire and Rescue Department arrested Rodolfo Cruz-Aguilar, age 40, of the 8500 block
of Sherman Court back on July 1 and charged him with felony arson.
The charges stem from a May 20, 2011 incident when it was discovered by fire officials that two separate fires had been set inside of a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban that was parked in the driveway of the house that Cruz-Aguilar rents.
Cruz-Aguilar is being held on a $20,000 cash bond at the Prince William Regional Adult Detention Center and is scheduled to be arraigned this week.
Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $11,100.
