Officers Confiscate Marijuana, Money and Guns From Motel Room

Alexander Javier Gonzalez, Jose Luis Rivas and Darwuin Frederico Campos charged with drug-related offenses.

Three men were charged with drug-related offenses after Prince William County Police found marijuana in their motel room, police said Thursday. 

Darwuin Frederico Campos, 18, of Lafayette Avenue in Manassas, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm with narcotics. Jose Luis Rivas, 24, of Quail Valley Boulveard in Gaithersburg, MD, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and posession of a firearm with narcotics. Alexander Javier Gonzalez, 22, of Riverton Drive in Stafford, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. 

Police responded to a drug complaint at the Super 8 motel at 7249 New Market Ct. in Manassas on Sept. 19, at 11:06 p.m. Officers spoke to the men, who were in room #276, because of the odor of marijuana coming from the room, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, of the Prince William County Police Department.

Once inside the room, officers found marijuana, scales, two guns, and an undisclosed amount of money. 

The court date for all three men is set for Nov. 7. Rivas and Campos were held without bond, while Gonzalez was held on a $5,000 secured bond.
