Police: 13-year-old Boy to Blame for Two Manassas-Area Burglaries

The boy is linked to break-ins reported in the Ashland Avenue area on Feb. 18 and Feb. 19, Prince William County Police said.

A 13-year-old boy is allegedly responsible for two burglaries reported in the Manassas area of Prince William County on Feb. 18 and 19.

Police arrested the boy on Tuesday when they responded to a domestic violence report at a home on the 8100 block of Pointer Lane in the Manassas area.

When they arrived, the suspect's mother told police her son had property that didn't belong to him.

The suspect is charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of grand larceny. He remains in a juvenile facility.
